Will the pool deck stones shift or sink over time?

While concrete overlays are possible in very specific scenarios, we generally do not recommend it. If the underlying concrete cracks or settles, the stone layout on top will quickly ruin. Completely removing old concrete and laying a fresh, flexible gravel base ensures your new stone pool deck lasts over 25 years.
